For starters you can earn 1.25 miles per dollar on every purchase, every day, and then redeem rewards for a variety of travel products such as hotel reservations, airline flights, and car rentals. When you fly you don’t have to worry about blackout dates and similar card program restrictions, either.

The interest rates are reasonable, ranging from 11.9%-19.9% depending upon your credit, and those also hold true for balance transfers. You may also qualify for a 0% percent introductory rate because Capital One frequently extends that offer to eligible newcomers.

You can earn 1.25 miles per dollar, which is a good program. Meanwhile you get to apply the rewards across a range of products and airlines without blackout dates on expiration rules. So this is a superior card for those who like to travel and also like to spend with plastic.

The Good
There is no annual fee, which distinguishes this rewards card from many of its most expensive and less flexible competitors.

The Not So Good
Unless you have excellent credit you probably will not qualify for this particular card.

REVIEW:
I would like to make it short and super sweet. I have been excellent and most value customer for WAMU until Chase took over WAMU. Eventually, I had to cancel my Bxxx Sxxx business and personal Chase credit cards due to unreasonable APR increased. Capital One is the only company that treats their value customers fairly during this recessions time. They did not increase APR a single % on my existing card. Since I have excellent credit I took the Venture One card and enjoy using it local and oversea. LOVE IT.
I definitely would recommend this card to a friend.
