Hello, I'd like to get a credit card that has no yearly fee and it has the most money back with purchases and bill pay. My credit score is between 720 and 750.

Many cash back cards offer no annual fees, take a look at the Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express and the Chase Freedom Unlimited® !

Citi is the best deal at 2% cash back anywhere, no gimmicks. I made over $400 last year in cash back and paid zero interest paying balances monthly. They pay me.

Secured credit cards are an excellent way for people to build credit; this works by using a refundable security deposit to open up an initial line of credit. Take a look at the Discover it® Secured and the Capital One® Secured Mastercard® !

I filed a chapter 13 bankruptcy about five years ago I paid all that was required in that bankruptcy. My credit score is 680 and I'm trying to get back to my 780-800 score that I had. What would be a good card for me?

With a credit score of 680 you have what is considered fair credit. Check out credit cards for fair credit. The Capital One® QuicksilverOne® Cash Rewards Credit Card or the Capital One® Platinum Credit Card might be a good fit!

If you recently filed bankruptcy, you will likely need to start with a secured credit card. Secured cards work just like normal credit cards, but you have to put down a refundable security deposit to get approved. The Capital One Secured MasterCard and the Discover it Secured Credit Card are both great options.

My bankruptcy discharged last April 2017. I was able to obtain 2 Credit Cards from Capitol One (not secured). The Master card credit limit was $300, after having the card for 6 months, the credit limit was raised to $500. My other card, Quicksilver was a $500 credit limit. I had to pay a $39 annual fee. IT is a great way to restore your credit. I just applied for 2 additional cards and were approved. Right now after I have 4 cards to help rebuild my credit. This is after a discharged bankruptcy under a year.

The Discover it® Balance Transfer is a great card that provides competitive balance transfer offers as well as no international fees. Another great balance transfer card is the The Amex EveryDay® Credit Card from American Express which has low international fees as well as great rewards!

It's not mentioned that the AmEx Blue Cash Everyday and Preferred Cards only give 3% and 6%, respectively, at full-sized, non-warehouse supermarkets. You only get 1% elsewhere like Walmart, etc. Personally, I originally had the Blue Cash Preferred but quickly learned the $75 (now $95) annual fee didn't pay for itself for me, so I switched to the no-annual-fee Blue Cash Everyday card and use it at Supermarkets for 3% cash-back when my other cards aren't offering a quarterly 5% cash-back bonus on groceries. I have other cards that offer more than the 2% it gives on gasoline, etc. It is the least valuable to me of my 6 credit cards, chosen for their cash-back rewards and which I pay-off entirely each month, the others being: Chase Freedom Visa and Discover (quarterly rotating 5% cash-back categories), Amazon Store Card (5% cash-back at Amazon), Citi Costco Visa (2% off Costco Merchandise, 4% off Costco gas or any standalone Exxon, Shell, etc. station, 3% off restaurants), and Citi Double Cash Mastercard (2% off everything: my fall-back card when the other cards don't offer more). On avg. retiree spending, my cash-back for 2015-7 has been: $826.85, $521.83, and $749.72 with a week left in the year. Those numbers more than paid for the plane flights to and from Miami and the 7-day Western Caribbean Cruise on the Celebrity Equinox - where I got another $150 off for early booking and saved about $125 in side-trips by early booking.

About Cash Back Credit Cards – Find the Best Cashback Credit Cards

Cash back credit cards, as their name implies, reward you with cash back for using the card. That makes them one of the most popular kinds of rewards cards because it’s like getting an extra discount on every purchase.

When looking for a cash back credit card you will want to keep in mind, however, that the biggest factors impacting any credit card are those that affect your interest rate and any standard fees and charges. If you get a card with too high of an interest rate or too expensive of an annual fee, it might undermine the whole point of trying to receive extra cash. The cash you get back with your cash back credit card should be viewed as an added perk. In other words, the best cashback credit card for you should allow you to enjoy that perk based on its fundamental ability to provide cash rewards in a relatively short amount of time.

Check our expert ratings, compare cards, and locate the top cash back credit cards which deliver the best all-around benefits – moderately low interest rate, universal cash back option and potentially one with no cap on the amount of cash back that can be earned. Most cash back credit cards will generally offer anywhere from 1% to 5% cash back – and will have guidelines regarding how much cash you can earn during a given timeframe. But if you pick your card wisely and then use it responsibly a cash back credit card is just like having an automatic savings plan or piggy bank tied to your purchase activity.
