You could buy a cup of coffee and earn that bonus. Really. Other travel cards require spend amounts as high as $3,000 in order to earn the sign-up bonus.

For anyone carrying a credit card balance, take advantage of 0% intro APR for 12 months on balance transfers made within the first 90 days of account opening. After that, your APR will be 14.74% to 27.74%.. That is a rare offering on a travel credit card and could save you hundreds of dollars in high interest charges.
This first-class card comes with a full suite of valuable travel perks including a 50% discount on an award ticket redeemed for travel to Central America or Colombia from the United States after $12,000 spent each year, free additional checked bag for travel between the U.S. and Central America. Other features include no foreign transaction fees, travel accident insurance and auto rental collision damage waiver.
The LifeMiles frequent flyer program is part of the robust Star Alliance, which enables LifeMiles members to earn and redeem miles on member airlines’ flights to over 1,250 destinations across the world. As of January 2020 there are 25 airlines in that alliance, including United, Lufthansa, CopaAirlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air New Zealand in the alliance. With Star Alliance you can redeem your points for a flight or upgrade no matter what frequent flyer program you earned them through.
There is an annual fee of $149, but that is easily offset by the sign-up bonus and high on-going rewards rate.
This card is worthy of consideration for any travel credit card enthusiast. The ability to earn bonus miles on gas stations and grocery stores allows you to pump up earnings rewards with everyday spending. The ability to transfer points and redeem for Star Alliance member flights increases the immediate value of this rewards program.
Easy to earn sign-up bonus and the ability to earn bonus miles on everyday spending like gas and groceries. You can save money when you use this card internationally with no foreign transaction fees.
If you don’t want to pay the annual fee consider the Avianca Vida Visa® Card which has a lower annual cost, but also a lower sign-up bonus and rewards rate.
