If you travel often and want to turn more of your purchases into points, this card packs in a lot of value. You earn a super-high rewards rate on airline and hotel purchases, and a strong rate on other travel purchases and at restaurants too. There is an annual fee, but it’s pretty moderate and easy to justify thanks to the generous rewards.

The Not So Good
While the lengthy 0% intro APR period for balance transfers is appealing, there’s no intro APR period for purchases, which many other cards in this category offer.
