If you are looking for a premium status credit card, the Mastercard® Gold Card™ could be a good choice. It’s made of gold. Yes, real 24-gold plated front and carbon back, weighing in at a hefty 22 grams. This card has the highest annual fee of the three Luxury Cards, which are issued by Barclays Bank, but also the biggest line-up of luxury benefits.

You could save money on high interest charges when you transfer your balance to this card with 0% introductory APR for the first fifteen billing cycles following each balance transfer that posts to your account within 45 days of account opening. After that, (and for balance transfers that do not post within 45 days of account opening) the APR will be 21.24%, 25.43% or 28.24%, based on your creditworthiness. The rewards rate at 2% for airline redemption is solid. Redeem for any airlines with no blackout dates. The real value in the Luxury cards are the massive array of benefits and features that come along with the high status Luxury cards. If you travel frequently, the airport lounge access, the concierge service and exclusive travel benefits could significantly improve your travel experience.
