From the CompareCards.com Editorial Team:
With the Gold Delta Skymiles Business Credit Card you can snag 30,000 SkyMiles after you make $1,000 in purchases on the Card within your first 3 months of card membership. Cardholders can earn 2 miles for every dollar spent directly with Delta and 1 mile for each dollar spent on all other eligible purchases. When you add additional employees to your account, you can earn miles at the same rate for each eligible purchase they charge to the card. Card members can also enjoy booking last minute flights without any blackout dates.
Each time you make a Delta reservation with your card you can check one bag for free – and that applies to everyone on the reservation with you for up to nine people. Seat upgrades are available, starting at 5,000 miles and Baggage Insurance Plan is available when you purchase a Common Carrier Conveyance ticket on your eligible card.
As with all American Express Open cards, you will enjoy Extended Warranty Protection, Dispute Resolution, Travel Accident Insurance, and 24/7 customer support. The annual fee is $95, waived for the first year.
For Delta airlines travelers this is a good card for earning flight rewards and it has some nice features that make it easy to earn points and hold on to them without fear of expiration. You can also share some of the perks with companion passengers, like the first checked bag for free feature.
You can earn lots of bonus miles by signing up yourself and others, and you get some good travel perks like points that don't expire.
There is a $95 per year annual fee, although it is waived in the first year of membership. These miles also do not add up toward Medallion Qualification – which is the VIP Delta customer status, so if you want that feature this card isn’t for you.
