The Marriott Bonvoy cards allow cardholders to redeem points for hotel stays and upgrades at more than 6,700 hotels around the world with 30 brands in 130 countries and territories. Plus, you can use a mix of points and cash for rooms. Points can be redeemed for air travel, rental cars, hotel and air travel packages, gift cards, merchandise and Marriott Bonvoy Experiences. You can also share or donate your points.

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless™ Credit Card
Earn 75,000 Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. The card has a $95 annual fee. The regular purchase APR is 15.99% - 22.99% Variable.
Earn 6X points for every $1 spent at over 7,000 hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy™ and 2X points on all other purchases. Here are some great ideas for redeeming those bonus points.
1. Do a weekend stay at the Brown Palace Hotel and Spa in Denver

This historic hotel first opened in 1892. It’s right downtown, where you can do things such as catch a Colorado Rockies baseball game at Coors Field, view exhibits at the Denver Art Museum or see a show at the Denver Performing Arts Center. A queen room in this Category 5 runs 35,000 points or $189 a night.
2. Take the kids to Disneyland and stay at the SpringHill Suites Anaheim Maingate

This Category 5 hotel, within walking distance of Disneyland and Downtown Disney, is a great family-friendly option. Your points will cover two days in a room with two queen beds, a sofabed, a living area and a free hot breakfast buffet. Other kid-friendly things to do nearby are driving indoor kart cars at K1 Speed Anaheim or catching an Anaheim Angels baseball game at Angels Stadium. If you’re up for a drive, check out Huntington Beach or the Aquarium of the Pacific. A room costs $199 or 35,000 points a night.
3. Tap your inner foodie
Use your Bonvoy points to bid on exclusive culinary experiences and events offered at Marriott Bonvoy™ Moments. A past bidder redeemed 97,500 points for a master class for two with Chef Matthew Accarrino of San Francisco Michelin-starred restaurant SPQR, to craft modern Italian cuisine at the acclaimed Global Culinary Series at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. Upcoming events up for bid include tickets to California’s Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival April 11-13, 2019, with the exclusive opportunity to meet Iron Chef Morimoto or an evening at New York City’s Per Se with Chef Thomas Keller.

Redeem points for merchandise including a Nespresso Citiz & Milk espresso machine (85,000 points), a Beats Pill Plus Bluetooth speaker (65,000 points) or a Dooney & Bourke Blakely Celeste purse (72,500). The retail value of these items are $299.95, $179.99 and $238, respectively.
Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant™ American Express® Card
Earn 125,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points after you use your new Card to make $5,000 in purchases within the first 3 months. 5. Treat yourself to four nights at Hawaii’s Courtyard Kaua’i at Coconut Beach

This beachfront Category 4 hotel is a great bargain at 25,000 points a night for a room with one king or two queen beds. The nightly rate is $304. Plus, there are plenty of things to do besides relaxing on the beach, including the scenic overlook at Opaeka’a Falls, the Kilohana Plantation or the National Tropical Botanical Garden. You can also take a helicopter tour or go scuba diving.
6. Spend two days at Florida’s The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island

Spend two relaxing days with the family at this beachfront Category 6 hotel located about 45 minutes northeast of Jacksonville, Fla. Start the trip by driving to the resort and taking the St. Johns River Ferry to the island. Hike the trails at Fort Clinch State Park, ride a horse on the beach, tour the Amelia Island Museum of History, ride a jet ski or enjoy an ocean kayak tour. A room will run you either 50,000 points or $590 a night.
7. Fly to New Orleans
Redeem points for a flight from Washington Dulles International Airport to the Big Easy. Once there, stay in one of 44 Marriott hotels in the New Orleans metropolitan area using cash, more points or a mix of both. There’s plenty to do in the city, such as a visit to the National WWII Museum, a tour of New Orleans movie locations and see how floats are made at Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World. Or go off the beaten path and consider a cocktail tour hosted by Elizabeth Pearce, a local historian, writer and guide.
8. Secure VIP concert seats
A past event that went for 100,000 points was a package for two to see Michael Bublé perform while sitting in a luxury theater box at the Toyota Center in Houston. It included free food and beverages in the theater box and a parking pass. Upcoming events include the Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta or the Hangout Music Fest in Gulf Shores, Ala.

9. Spend two days at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront Hotel

This Category 6 property boasts views of the mountains and Elliott Bay. The room costs 50,000 points or $259 per night. Take an elevator down to the world-famous Pike Place Market, or visit other nearby downtown attractions including the Seattle Waterfront, the Seattle Aquarium, Olympic Sculpture Park and the iconic Space Needle. Visit Nordstrom’s flagship store and the original Starbucks, or admire the flora and art at the Chihuly Glass and Garden.
10. Rent a convertible

Fly down to Miami, rent a Ford Mustang with your points and use the city as the start of a five-day Florida road trip. First take a scenic drive to the Florida Keys, where you can visit the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum or the Southernmost Point, a landmark that represents the lowest spot on the map of the continental United States. Visit the Salvador Dali Museum and hit the beach in St. Petersburg, Fla. Tour Everglades National Park, then drive west to Naples, on the Gulf of Mexico, to visit the Naples Botanical Garden and check out its active local arts scene and its unspoiled beaches.
