Our next scholarship will open at the beginning of July and close at the end of August - perfect timing for planning your college finances for the year.

Don't forget to check back here this summer!

Or follow us on Facebook or Twitter if you need us to remind you nearer the time.

July's Trivia Question

This scholarship is open for two months, for July and August 2016.

What is the sum of the following six numbers:

  1. In "No Country for Old Men", what is the year stamped on the quarter that the general store owner correctly guesses lands on heads?
  2. If a Major League Pitcher has allowed 44 earned runs in 198 innings pitched, what is his ERA? (Round up to the nearest full integer)
  3. Total number of semimetals whose periodic table digits add up to a total of at least 8. (So if an element has a periodic number of 12, the total of its digits is only 3.)
  4. In what year did King Henry VI ban kissing to prevent the spread of disease?
  5. How many US States are listed on the back of a $5 bill?
  6. The total number of starting pieces (for a single player) on a chess board multiplied by the total number of dots on a standard pair of dice plus the number of rows of stars on the American flag?
