The Bottom Line

Because of the annual fee, you need to spend a lot and travel often on Delta to take full advantage of the perks and bonus rewards offered. But if that fits your spending patterns, this card could have unique value.

The Good

Receive 10,000 Medallion Qualification Miles and 10,000 bonus miles after your first purchase, plus two miles per dollar spent on Delta purchases and one mile per dollar spent on everything else. Check your first bag free on Delta flights booked with your card and enjoy priority boarding.
You also receive in-flight discounts of 20% on such things as food, beverages, and audio headsets. Enter Delta Sky Club lounges for free, and bring one or two guests at $29 per person. Domestic First or Main Cabin round-trip companion certificates are gifted to cardholders each year, when they renew membership.
You ahave 24/7 access to Delta’s concierge staff for VIP treatment, and there is no foreign transaction fee. Earn 15,000 Medallion Qualification Miles and 15,000 bonus miles after you spend at least $30,000 per year. Spend at least $60,000 in the same year and earn an additional 15,000 Medallion Qualification Miles and an additional 15,000 bonus miles.

The Not So Good

The annual fee is $450. The APR for purchases and balance transfers is 15.49%, 17.49%, or 19.49%, based on your credit worthiness and the APR for cash advances is 25.49%. There is a surcharge on each balance transfer or cash advance of either $5 or 3%, whichever is greater.
