This card comes with $150 bonus cash back to new card members after spending at least $500 on purchases with the card during the first three months from account opening. For ongoing rewards, cardholders will earn a generous 5% cash back on certain rotating categories each quarter. The 5% cash back is limited to the first $1,500 in purchases in the specified category for that quarter, and the categories often include things like gas, groceries, dining, Amazon.com and more.
On top of that, you'll earn a steady 1% cash back on all other purchases with your with Chase Freedom. There is no annual fee with this credit card, and there's an introductory APR of 0% for 15 months on both purchases and balance transfers. After the intro period is up, the ongoing APR will be 14.24% - 23.24% (variable) based on your creditworthiness.
