An awesome card if you want cash back. The only downside I have seen is that Discover isn't accepted in as many places as Visa and Mastercard.

If you have good credit history Discover reward program will work for you. I don't think I know better rewards from any other bank.

Be careful with instant approval. Looking for deal I was trying to apply for 7 credit cards and 5 of them refused. Later I found that my credit score dropped because I made all this attempts. I recommend to apply only if your credit history, income, and credit experience is good enough.

Nothing compares to this card when you speak about rewards! With as low as 0% introductory APR for as long as 12 months (both for BTs and purchases), you get as much as 1% - 5% on everyday purchases. No annual fee and no liability for fraudulent purchases.

Just wanted to note that the 5% gas rebate is on the first $100 per month. Then the 1% applies to the rest. I didn't find that out until I called to add this to my card. So the rebate only applies to 2 tanks of gas for me each month.

Cash rewards is a trick which most banks use for their marketing... when it comes to claim your rewards they use different tricks to policies which confuse clients and customers. Read careful their policies and you will find many limits, restrictions, and rules such as minimum spending, reward limits, time lines, and intro periods. Unlimited cash rewards is a thing which other banks can't really offer. Discover doesn't confuse people and keep unlimited cash reward program for everybody. I always pay full amount without paying interest, it gives me cash reward and extra money every month.

Unlimited cash rewards! I never use my checking account and direct deposit from work. Every day I spend money with Discover (groceries, bills, shopping, gas) and pay whole bill to avoid interest. Often I reach up to $200 in rewards and use them every month.

Reading previous reviews I decide to write my own opinion. Cash reward benefit from Discover deserve A+. With other banks you should call 1-800 numbers and wait 30 minutes on hold to claim rewards. Discover provides automatic cash rewards and you can see them in your statement.

I have enjoyed getting to know Discover versus Amex; only thing that I wish were a bit stronger was 12 months on purchases. But, all in all, a good company to have in my wallet.

Discover has excellent customer service you never have to wait long and they always met my needs. I've been a "member" for years now and am very satisfied. I have a low APR but I rarely pay any finance charges or fees. The cashback rewards is the best out there. I use it as my main credit card unless a place doesn't except it.

I love the customer protection that Discover offers. They credit your card back with no questions if you have an issue with a vendor. Customer service is the best of all the cards I have had in the past. I also appreciate the ease of use of their website/online payments.

The card is Average, but I was mailed this card after applying for a different Discover Card and after trying to fix the situation four phone calls and three months later it was determined that two of the Discover Card employees lied and tricked me into receiving the deal I got. The only thing they could offer me to make up for this was give me the introductory APR for a couple of extra months. I do not want to deal with Discover ever again.

Discover has allowed me to borrow money while using the concept of "same as cash" after I transferred a balance from another account. In essence, I obtained an extremely low interest loan once I factored the $75 transfer fee. The fact that Discover allows 12 months versus 6 months give you greater latitude. Although the standard APR is about as high as their competitors, it's up to each account holder to pay off the balance monthy once the introduction offer expires. Thanks Discover!!
