If you are a business owner, there are a number practical reasons why you should be putting your everyday business expenses on a credit card instead of using cash, check or debit card. If you’re paying your bills on time each month, business credit cards can be an invaluable resource to give your business an advantageous boost. Here are a few reasons why you should be using business credit cards for your day-to-day expenses:

  • Build Business Credit: Having a solid prepayment history on your business credit cards will show lenders that you manage credit responsibly. This can result in lower interest rates and better terms on future loan products. See more about how you can build business credit.
  • Access to a Higher Credit Line: Business cards typically come with higher lines of credit than personal credit cards. This allows you to pay off your balances on your own terms, whether all at once or throughout the year.
  • Loads of Rewards: Because businesses accounts usually have many more expenses than your personal accounts, you can use a business credit card with a good rewards program to rake in extra cash back, points, or rewards.
  • Streamline Your Finances: Putting all of your expenses on a business credit card makes life a lot easier when tax season comes around because you’ll have your full transaction history in one place. Also, you can usually integrate your business credit cards with your accounting software, like QuickBooks, to easily manage all of your accounts.

It’s easy to see how beneficial it can be to use a business credit card, but with so many options out there, it can certainly get tricky when trying to decide which card is best for you. The best business credit cards will come with rewards, offer employee credit cards, will have low carrying costs, and come with added tools and benefits to help you run your business.

Lucky for you, we’ve compiled a list of the best business credit cards of 2015 from our partners.
