The Bottom Line

For those who typically carry a monthly balance and prefer the advantages of a lower APR, this may be worthy of consideration. The rewards program isn’t that generous, but there are other perks to offset that weakness.

The Good

Receive a 0% Introductory APR for 12 billing cycles on balance transfers and a 0% introductory fee for balances transferred within 30 days of account opening. Earn 1 Loyalty Point on every net $1 spent. Plus, earn 10,000 bonus Loyalty Points® with this offer after you spend $500 within the first 90 days of account opening.
There is no annual fee and the purchase APR is 13.24%, which is relatively low in today’s credit card market. Also the MasterCard World Benefits include concierge service, fraud protection, rental insurance damage waiver coverage, travel and emergency assistance services, and more.

The Not So Good

The 10,000 bonus point sign-up offer expires on April 30th, 2016 and it is possible that it will not be renewed in the future. There is a surcharge of 3% or $5, whichever is greater, on each balance transfer transaction.
