Southwest one of the most popular airlines in the country and one of the few remaining carriers that still offers perks like free baggage and low fares. Now Southwest has teamed up with Chase to offer its customers a great rewards card. The Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card will earn you robust rewards points that can be redeemed for domestic and international flights, cruises, hotel stays, car rentals, gift cards, and more.
With the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card, you can earn 40,000 points after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open.. There is an annual fee of $69, but that's largely offset by the fact that you earn 3,000 bonus points after your Cardmember anniversary.
For earning rewards on purchases, cardholders will get 2 points per $1 spent on Southwest® purchases and Rapid Rewards® hotel and car rental partner purchases. 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases. The points you earn with the Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card will never expire and there is no limit to the amount of points you can earn.
