If there’s a trip to Disney in your future, why not opt for a credit card that lets you earn bonus rewards in popular spend categories, such as gas and restaurants, and redeem those rewards for Disney experiences? Along with Disney-related perks and discounts, the Disney® Premier Visa® Card offers a solid rewards rate: Earn 2% in Disney Rewards Dollars on card purchases at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants and most Disney locations. Earn 1% on all your other card purchases.
You can redeem Disney Rewards Dollars for Disney experiences, including Disney Theme Park tickets, resort stays, shopping, dining, movies, cruise lines and more. You can also redeem Rewards Dollars for a statement credit toward airline travel.
The Disney® Premier Visa® Card comes with an annual fee of $49 each year. However, the sign-up bonus alone can more than make up for that fee the first year: Earn a $200 Statement Credit after you spend $500 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening with a new Disney Premier Visa Card.

The main items that set these cards apart are the rewards rates, the sign-up bonuses and the annual fees. Additionally, unlike the Disney® Premier Visa® Card, you cannot redeem Rewards Dollars for a statement credit toward airline travel with the Disney® Visa® Card. However, you can redeem your Disney Visa rewards dollars toward Disney theme park tickets, resort stays, shopping, dining, movies and cruise lines.
The bottom line
Overall, the Disney® Premier Visa® Card is a good option if you want to earn bonus rewards to use toward Disney experiences. But if you simply want to take advantage of Disney-related perks and discounts, the $0-annual-fee Disney® Visa® Card is the better choice.
Or, if you’d prefer a flat-rate card with more redemption flexibility, you may want to consider the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card instead. Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card members earn 2 Miles per dollar on every purchase, every day, that can be redeemed for flights, hotel stays, car rentals, gift cards and more — which can help fund a Disney vacation. Plus, you can transfer miles to 14 airline transfer partners, including Air France KLM, Air Canada, Emirates Skywards and more.
