Or perhaps you’ve accrued debt on a high-interest business credit card and are looking for a break from interest charges. This is when a business card offering a 0% intro APR on purchases or balance transfers can come in handy.

The Ink Business Cash℠ Credit Card

This card offers an intro APR of 0% intro apr on purchases for 12 months on purchases. After that, an APR of 13.24% - 19.24% variable applies.

There’s a generous cashback program, too. Earn 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services each account anniversary year. Earn 2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year. Earn 1% cash back on all other card purchases with no limit to the amount you can earn.

And there’s a sign-up bonus: Earn $500 bonus cash back after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

With a year-long intro APR period, this card gives you plenty of time to pay off any big purchases your business needs to make. But there’s no balance transfer intro APR, so if you’re looking to move debt from another card, you should consider a different card.

The Ink Business Unlimited℠ Credit Card

The intro APR period offered on this card is 0% intro apr on purchases for 12 months on purchases. After that, an APR of 13.24% - 19.24% variable applies. Like the Ink Business Cash℠ Credit Card, the Ink Business Unlimited℠ Credit Card doesn’t offer an intro APR period for balance transfers.

There’s also a decent flat-rate cashback program: Earn unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase made for your business. There are other flat-rate business cards with which you can earn a higher cashback rate, but they may charge an annual fee or impose a spending cap.

For the sign-up bonus, earn $500 bonus cash back after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.

The Discover it® Business Card

If you’re looking for cash back, you can get it with this card. Earn 1.5% cash back on every dollar spent on all purchases. Plus, Discover offers a unique and generous sign-up bonus for new cardmembers. Get an unlimited dollar-for-dollar match of all the cash back you earn at the end of your first year, automatically. The U.S. Bank Business Platinum

This is a no-frills business credit card, but it does offer an intro purchase APR of 0% for 20 billing cycles, and an intro balance transfer APR of 0% for 20 billing cycles. After that, an APR of 9.99%-17.99%* (variable) applies for purchases and an APR of 9.99%-17.99%* (variable) applies for balance transfers. The balance transfer fee is 3%.

There are no rewards with the U.S. Bank Business Platinum, but if you need a year to pay off a big purchase or pay down transferred debt without incurring interest charges, this card can help you do that.

The Bank of America® Business Advantage Cash Rewards Mastercard® credit card

The intro APR period on the Bank of America® Business Advantage Cash Rewards Mastercard® credit card is 0% for 9 billing cycles on purchases. After that, a 12.24% - 22.24% Variable APR applies.

If you’re looking for a flexible cashback business card, this card fits the description. Earn 3% cash back on your choice of one of the following six categories: gas stations, office supply stores, travel, TV/telecom & wireless, computer services or business consulting services, and 2% cash back on dining (on the first $50,000 each calendar year, then 1%. Earn an unlimited 1% cash back on all other purchases.

You’ve also got a chance to boost your earning rate and earn more cash back. You can get 75% more cash back on every purchase when you’re a Preferred Rewards for Business Platinum Honors tier member, according to Bank of America’s website.

The Bank of America® Business Advantage Travel Rewards World Mastercard® credit card

If you’re looking for a flat-rate travel card, you may like this one’s rewards structure: 1.5 rewards points for every $1 on all purchases, 3 points per every dollar spent on travel purchases (car, hotel, airline) booked through the Bank of America® Travel Center..

If you like keeping things simple, this travel card can help you do it. Earn 1.5 miles per $1 on every purchase. You can also earn a one-time bonus of 20,000 miles once you spend $3,000 on purchases within 3 months from account opening.

The Capital One® Spark® Cash Select for Business

The intro APR period is 0% on purchases for 9 months. After that, a 13.99% - 23.99% (variable) APR applies.

For rewards, this card’s structure is very similar to the Capital One® Spark® Miles Select for Business — except you earn cash back instead of miles. With the Capital One® Spark® Cash Select for Business, earn 1.5% cash back on every purchase.  And you can earn a one-time $200 cash bonus once you spend $3,000 on purchases within 3 months from account opening.

The U.S. Bank Business Select Rewards Card

For purchases on this card, you get a 0% introductory APR for the first 9 billing cycles. After that, a 13.99% to 24.99% (variable) APR applies.

This is another card with a flexible rewards structure. Earn 3 points on day-to-day expenses, automotive or travel and entertainment, depending on the bonus category you choose, and 1 point everywhere else.

There’s also a sign-up bonus for the U.S. Bank Business Select Rewards Card: Earn 20,000 extra points when you spend $1,000 in eligible net purchases within the first 90 days after opening your account.

Business cards with intro APR for 7 months

The Bank of America Platinum Plus® Mastercard® Business card

This card offers no rewards and an intro APR period of 0% for 7 billing cycles on purchases (after that, a 10.24% - 21.24% Variable APR applies). However, if you like banking with Bank of America and don’t need quite as long to pay off any new purchases, this card can help you get the job done.

The sign-up bonus for the Bank of America Platinum Plus® Mastercard® Business card is a $300 statement credit when you make at least $3,000 in net purchases within 60 days of your account opening..

The bottom line

Based on the cards we reviewed, it’s easier to find a business card offering a 0% intro APR on purchases than balance transfers. Just remember when planning for a balance transfer that you can’t transfer debt between two cards from the same issuer — so if your existing debt is on an American Express card, you can’t transfer it to another American Express card.
