The Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card From American Express is an excellent credit card for business owners who want to rack up Starpoints with every purchase. To start off, new cardholders can take advantage of a generous welcome offer: 100,000 bonus points after you use your new Card to make $5,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of Card Membership. This card will also help you earn valuable rewards on every purchases, especially if you frequently stay at Starwood or Marriott Hotels – 6 points for each dollar of eligible purchases at over 6,500 participating SPG® and Marriott Rewards® hotels across 110 countries worldwide. Starpoints can be redeemed at more than 1,300 hotels in nearly 100 countries, or for air travel on more than 150 airlines with SPG Flights. Members also get to make reservations without annoying and restrictive blackout dates.
There is $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, then $95, but you can easily cover the cost of that fee with the rewards you earn on your spending. Plus, there's no foreign transactino fees which makes this card a great option when traveling overseas.
This can be a very rewarding credit card for those who like to stay at Starwood & Marriott hotels or use points to travel.
The welcome offer is a great way to kick of your rewards earning. Also, there are no blackout dates when you redeem points for hotel or airline reservations.
There is an annual fee with this card, so you'll need to consider whether the rewards you earn justify paying the annual fee to carry this card.
