The Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard®, from our partner Citi, is a great card for people who frequently travel on American Airlines. Although there is a rather high annual fee of $450, this card does come with great perks like a complimentary Admirals Club membership with guest privileges, no foreign transaction fees, first checked bag free, and much more. Cardholders can Earn 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after spending $5,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening.
For ongoing rewards, cardholders can Earn 2 AAdvantage® miles for every $1 spent on eligible American Airlines purchases & 1 AAdvantage® mile for every $1 spent on other purchases.
The ongoing APR for this card is 16.74% - 25.74% (Variable) and you will need excellent credit to get approved.
If you are a frequent flier on American Airlines, then this could be a very beneficial card to carry. You will need to take advantage of the numerous perks like lounge access and the Elite Qualifying Miles to really justify the annual fee.
You can get a big jump-start on earning miles with Earn 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles after spending $5,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. Cardholders will receive excellent travel perks such as complimentary membership to Admirals Club, free checked bag, and in-flight savings.
This card won't be worth paying the annual fee unless you frequently fly with American Airlines. You need Excellent/Good credit to qualify.
