United Club membership can cost up to $550 a year. But if you are a Premier level elite flyer on United (25,000 or more qualifying miles per year) and do not currently hold the United MileagePlus® Club Card, then you might be eligible for an offer of free United Club membership for one year.

How?

By applying for the United MileagePlus® Club Card from Chase which includes full membership to the United Club. Normally the card costs $450 per year, but if you are a Premier member of United MileagePlus there is an offer that waives that annual fee the first year.

Here’s how to find the offer…

  1. Log into your MileagePlus account at United.com so it knows you’re a Premier member
  2. Targeted offer page (this has worked for some readers in the past, but no guarantees)

It might show a screen like the below with an offer that says ‘$0 Intro Annual Fee the First Year.

If it doesn’t…and you see either a $100 statement credit offer, or a generic United page, then close the window that popped up, and click the link again. See discussion on FlyerTalk.

Some people have reported luck getting this offer by stopping into a Chase branch to apply in person.
