The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card’s higher sign-up bonus comes at a price, though. The card charges an annual fee of $95, while the Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card has a $0 annual fee.

Are you eligible for the Venture sign-up bonuses?

If you are an existing or previous Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card or Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card holder, you may not be eligible to receive that particular card’s one-time sign-up bonus.

Additionally, you will not be eligible if you have applied for a Capital One credit card two or more times in the past 30 days, if you have five or more open Capital One credit card accounts or if you have a past due Capital One credit card account.

Also note that your monthly income must exceed your monthly rent or mortgage payment by at least $425.

How can you use your Venture sign-up bonuses?

You can use Venture miles to book travel on any airline, with no seat restrictions or blackout dates. You can also redeem miles for car rentals, hotels, ride-sharing apps, cruises and more. Venture miles are valued at 1 cent each – making the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card’s bonus worth $600 and the Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card’s bonus is worth $200 in travel.

Additionally, miles can be redeemed for cash in the form of a check or account credit, gift cards and more.

Can you transfer Venture card rewards miles?

Capital One allows Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card cardholders to transfer miles to 13 airline partners. Plus, as of Feb. 4, 2020, cardholders can transfer Venture miles to two hotel loyalty programs: Accor Live Limitless (ALL) and Wyndham Rewards.

Miles can be transferred to the following travel loyalty programs at a rate of 2:1:

  • Accor Live Limitless
  • Emirates Skywards
  • Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer

You can transfer your miles to the following travel partners at a rate of 2:1.5:

  • Alitalia MilleMiglia Program
  • Asia Miles
  • Avianca LifeMiles
  • Etihad Airways Etihad Guest
  • EVA Air Infinity MileageLands
  • Finnair Finnair Plus
  • JetBlue TrueBlue
