Best HSBC cash back credit card: HSBC Cash Rewards Mastercard® credit card

The HSBC Cash Rewards Mastercard® credit card is ideal if you want a straightforward approach to earning cashback rewards. The card offers a flat rewards rate of unlimited 1.5% cash rewards on all purchases. Plus, cardholders earn an earn an introductory 3% cash back on all purchases in your first year, up to $10,000 in spend..

If you max out the introductory bonus by spending $10,000 on the card during the first 12 months, you’ll earn $300 cash back.

If you plan to carry a balance on your HSBC Cash Rewards Mastercard® credit card or transfer a balance from a different card, you can do so without paying interest for a full year. What to look out for

Although the HSBC Cash Rewards Mastercard® credit card offers an extended introductory APR on balance transfers, a balance transfer fee of either $10 or 4%, whichever is greater, will apply on each balance transfer.

Best HSBC intro APR credit card: HSBC Gold Mastercard® credit card

Whether you’re planning to finance a large purchase and pay it off over time or want to transfer a high-interest balance from a different credit card, a credit card that offers a generous introductory APR may be your best bet.

The HSBC Gold Mastercard® credit card currently offers the longest intro APR on purchases and balance transfers among HSBC credit cards. What to look out for

The HSBC Gold Mastercard® credit card does not offer a rewards program. However, if you plan to take advantage of the card’s introductory balance transfer offer, we recommend paying off your balance transfer in full within the promotional period before focusing on earning card rewards.

Best HSBC dining credit card: HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card

If you regularly dine out or attend entertainment events, you should consider a card that offers a generous rewards rate on those purchases, such as the HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card.

Earn an introductory 3X points on dining and select entertainment purchases, plus 2X points on all other purchases in the first 12 months from account opening up to the first $25,000 in purchases. After the intro period ends, earn 2X rewards program points on new, net dining and select entertainment purchases and 1X points on all other purchases.

Points can be redeemed for travel, cash back, gift cards or merchandise.

The HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card offers a 0% Introductory APR for purchases for 12 months. After that, a regular APR of 16.49% or 20.49% variable applies. The card also offers a 0% Introductory APR on balance transfers for 12 months. Balance transfers must be posted within the first 60 days following account opening. To apply for the HSBC Advance Mastercard® credit card, you must have an existing U.S. HSBC Advance or Premier checking account.

Best HSBC travel credit card: HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard® credit card

The HSBC Premier World Elite Mastercard® credit card offers the highest rewards rate among HSBC credit cards on travel purchases, including airfare, hotel stays and car rentals. Earn 3X rewards program points on new travel and 2X rewards program points on dining. Earn 1X point on all other net purchases.

Earn 50,000 Rewards Program Bonus Points worth $750 in airfare when booked online through HSBC Rewards, after spending $4,000 in the first three months of account opening.
