Hotel rewards credit cards provide an opportunity to earn free hotel stays in locations around the world. Some of the top hotel chains and resort facilities now offer these flexible credit cards. Use them for any type of purchase and earn credit to later spend on your hotel stays. This is a great way to earn discounts for your travel needs. Consumers will find a variety of options available including cards that allow you to earn points for every purchase you make using the card. Some provide additional discounts and savings when you use your credit card at the appropriate hotel or to book your travel plans.
When comparing hotel rewards credit cards, consumers need to consider their specific needs. Some of these credit cards only provide rewards when you book at specific hotel chains. Others only allow you to redeem rewards when you book your stay at those chains. In some cases, you can earn one rewards point for each $1 you spend on the card. Some do offer large bonus offers or free nights just for using your card within the first few months of receiving it. Some cards do offer introductory offers and low APR interest rates. Annual fees are likely to apply. Some cards do not limit when you can use your earned rewards, with some not having blackout dates. However, it is important to consider limitations on where you can stay, when you can use the points and what you can use the points for before selecting a hotel rewards credit card. Both hotel-chain specific and traditional lender rewards credit cards can offer these types of travel benefits to consumers.
