The Wells Fargo Propel American Express Card is a great credit card for consumers looking to earn extra rewards on their gas and restaurant spending. This card comes with 3x points per dollar spent on gas, 2x points per dollar spent on restaurants, and 1x points on all other purchases. You can even receive an extra 10% points bonus if you maintain a qualifying Wells Fargo Consumer bank account.
Point redemptions start at 2,500 points for $25 and there is no limit to the amount of points you can earn. This card will also come with the many perks of carrying an American Express card like Lost Luggage Insurance, Extended Warranty, Auto Rental Insurance and more.
There is no annual fee with this credit card, and cardholders will also enjoy 0% intro APR for 15 months on purchases and balance transfers. After the intro period is up, the ongoing APR will be 13.74% - 25.74% Variable APR based on your creditworthiness. For balance transfer, there is a 3% introductory fee for 15 months, and after that your transfer fee will be 5% of each of amount of each transfer.
This is a solid rewards card with no annual fee that offers bonus points for popular spending categories like gas and restaurants as well as a nice intro APR.
There's no limit on the amount of points you can earn, and if you have a qualifying Wells Fargo account, you can get even more rewards with the 10% annual bonus.
There's no sign up bonus with this card, and you'll need excellent/good credit to qualify.
