The Wells Fargo Propel American Express® Card is a great credit card for consumers looking to earn extra rewards on their gas and restaurant spending. This card comes with 3X points at U.S. gas stations, 2X points at U.S. restaurants, and 1X point on other net purchases. You can even receive an extra 10% points bonus if you maintain a qualifying Wells Fargo Consumer bank account.
To kickstart your rewards, you can earn 20,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months. Point redemptions start at 2,500 points for $25 and there is no limit to the amount of points you can earn. This card will also come with the many perks of carrying an American Express card like Lost Luggage Insurance, Extended Warranty, Auto Rental Insurance and more.
There is no annual fee with this credit card, and cardholders will also enjoy an intro APR of 0% for 12 months on purchases and 0% for 12 months balance transfers. After the intro period is up, the ongoing APR will be 13.99%-25.99% (Variable) APR based on your creditworthiness. For balance transfers, there is a 3% Intro for 12 months, then 5% of each of amount of each transfer.
This is a solid rewards card with no annual fee that offers bonus points for popular spending categories like gas and restaurants as well as a nice intro APR.
There's no limit on the amount of points you can earn, and if you have a qualifying Wells Fargo account, you can get even more rewards with the 10% annual bonus.
