Rates & Term Details
From the CompareCards.com Editorial Team: The Citi ThankYou Preferred credit card is a rewards card with lots of different ways to earn bonus points or other perks, and you can get the card with 0% interest on both purchases and balance transfers – for an entire 12-month introductory period. That’s one of the best introductory offers in the industry, plus the citi thank you preferred credit card has no annual membership fee. If that is not enough to entice you, you can also earn a $100 gift card within the first 90 days if you spend at least $300 during that timeframe. The way that works is that you earn 6,000 rewards points – and those are redeemable for the $100 gift card. But if you prefer you can just save your 6,000 bonus points for something else. Meanwhile you can earn five points for every dollar spent during the first year you are a cardholder, and you’ll earn one point per dollar thereafter. Redeem your points once you have at least 100, and you can earn those 100 points for free if you sign up for paperless billing. Open an online banking account affiliated with the card and you’ll get another 100 points. In addition you can earn anniversary bonus points once a year for being a loyal cardholder. The longer you keep the card the more your anniversary bonus grows. There is also no cap on how many points you can earn, and they don’t expire as long as you use your card to make at least one purchase a year. |
