From the CompareCards.com Editorial Team:

The Chase Ink Ultimate Rewards card charges no annual fee and rewards you with a point for every dollar you spend on the card, and gives you double points if you use the card to pay for fuel and lodging when booked through the Ultimate Rewards system.

If you also shop in the exclusive Ultimate Rewards store then you can earn as much as 10 points for every $1 you spend. There is a 0% introductory APR that applies to both purchases and balance transfers for the first 6 months of card membership, too.

While there are many cards that have more robust rewards programs, lots of other cards also charge an annual fee or don’t give you a 0% introductory rate, so that helps to distinguish the Ink Ultimate from the herd. The rewards plan is really straightforward and simple, too, although it may be a little too generic or basic for some consumers. But if you don’t spend enough to qualify for some of the tiered bonus plans that many cards – including other versions of the Chase Ink card – offer to big spenders, then this card might be ideal for you.

The Bottom-Line
This is more or less a no-frills rewards card that has a clear, easy-to-understand program that translates into a point for every dollar you spend. There is no annual fee, and you get six months of zero interest as a sign-up incentive.

The Good
There is no annual fee and you can earn up to 5x points on the first $25,000 by shopping through Ultimate Rewards or using it to book your air travel, and there is 0% interest for the first six months.

The Not So Good
The rewards are pretty basic, so those want a fancier card or one with more ways to earn big bonus points may not find this one particularly exciting.
