The Bottom Line

For Hyatt customers this card offers some valuable perks like free nights and rewards redeemable toward discounted stays, and those may be enough to justify the annual fee.

The Good

Receive 2 free nights after making $1,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of card membership,  plus a free night each year at a Hyatt hotel as a loyalty bonus.

Earn 3 points for every $1 spent on purchases at all Hyatt properties with your Hyatt credit card; 2 points for every $1 spent at restaurants, on airline tickets purchased directly from the airline, and at car rental agencies; and 1 point for every $1 spent on purchases anywhere else. There are no limits to the points you can earn.
There are no foreign transaction fees, and the annual fee is waived for the first year of card membership.

The Not So Good

The annual fee is $75, and the standard APR for purchases and balance transfers is 16.24%. The APR for cash advances is 25.24%. There is a surcharge on balance transfers of either $5 or 5% of the amount of each transfer, whichever is greater and a surcharge on cash advances of either $10 or 5% of each transaction, whichever is greater.
