The Citi® Dividend® Card for College Students is a student-focused Visa card that has no annual fee and offers a 7-month 0% APR introductory rate to start off with a full college semester of no interest payments. Plus there is no co-signer requirement as long as you are old enough to have your own plastic.
For the first six months you can also earn a 5% cash back rebate on purchases made at gas stations, drugstores, convenience stores, grocery stores, and when paying for utilities – including cable TV. Also receive a full 1% cash back on all other purchases.
Other cash back rewards can be earned for transferring large balances from other cards, and there are online account management tools to help establish credit history. That makes this a very user-friendly card for the student, and it is a convenient kind of plastic for those who want a real Visa card and a chance to strengthen their own good credit.
