The Bottom Line

You need to spend a lot of money each year in the categories that pay triple points, plus take full advantage of the other benefits, in order to justify paying the very high annual fee.

The Good

If you need a personal assistant, cardholders have access to one to help with reservations and similar tasks, plus you receive access to airport lounges around the world. Meanwhile you earn three points per dollar on gas, groceries, and at the drugstore and one point per dollar on every purchase – with no limits on how much you can earn. Other benefits include purchase assurance and warranty coverage; trip cancellation, lost baggage, and travel accident insurance; and more.

The Not So Good

There is a $300 annual fee.
The purchase APR is 13.40%, and the cash advance APR is 22.49%. There is also a surcharge on cash advances of either $4 or 4% of the amount of each cash advance, whichever is greater.
