The Bottom Line

For those who fly Delta and spend enough to qualify for the Medallion status, this card may be worth considering, despite the annual fee.

The Good

Receive 5,000 bonus miles after your first purchase as a sign-up reward, and earn 2 miles per dollar on Delta purchases and 1 mile per dollar on everything else.
Also, if you spend at least $25,000 per year on the card, the Medallion Qualification Dollar requirement will be waived.
Check your first bag free on Delta flights booked with your card and enjoy priority boarding. You also receive in-flight discounts of 20% on such things as food, beverages, and audio headsets.

The Not So Good

The annual fee is $55.
The APR for purchases and balance transfers is 15.49, 16.49, 17.49, 18.49 or 19.49%, based on your credit worthiness and the APR for cash advances is 25.49%. There is a also a balance transfer and cash advance surcharge of either $5 or 3% of the amount of each transaction, whichever is greater. The foreign transaction fee is 2.7%.
