The Bottom Line

The card is a good way for those with fair or limited credit history to establish a financial record, but if you plan to carry a balance, the APR on this card can be quite high, especially when there are numerous comparable cards with lower interest rates and a rewards program.

The Good

There is no annual fee and a 16.9% APR.  The penalty APR at 21% is high, but lower than many others which have rates around 28.99%

The Not So Good

Many credit cards targeted toward students offer lower interest rates, cashback rewards for getting good grades, and a rewards program.  This card offer none of these.
