The Amex EveryDay Credit Card from American Express is a great rewards credit card for those who want to earn rewards for everyday purchases without paying an annual fee. Cardholders will earn 2x points for purchases at U.S. supermarkets up to $6,000 on purchases per year. After that, all purchases will earn 1 point per dollar spent.

To start, new cardholders can receive 10,000 Membership Rewards points after using thecard to make $1,000 in purchases during the first 3 months. You will also receive a bonus of 20% more points on purchases already made, as long as the cardholder makes 20 or more purchases in a billing period. Additionally, cardholders will receive great travel and protection benefits such as car rental loss, damage insurance and extended warranty. 

The Amex EveryDay Credit Card from American Express also comes with 0% intro APR for 12 months on purchases and balance transfers, with an on-going rate of 13.74% to 23.74% variable.

The Bottom Line

This is the perfect card for those who frequently charge grocery purchases to their credit card and want to earn 2x points per purchase. This card also comes with no annual fee and a competitive and lengthy intro APR of 0% for 12 months.

The Good

With no annual fee and a 10,000 bonus points for spending $1,000 on the card in the first 3 months of cardmembership, this is a great card backed by the American Express reputation. You also get 1 point on all purchases.

The Not so Good

The rewards rate on this card isn't as high as some of it's competitors.

No annual fee. Minimum payments like regular credit cards. Reward points with great selection. 20 or more purchases in a billing period = 20% more points.
