Expert Reviews

From the CompareCards.com Editorial Team

The Air Force Association Credit Card from USAA gives cardmembers the benefit of both a rewards points program and an introductory APR on balance transfers. The travel and military benefits, such as for up to 12 months during deployment miltary service members receive 4% APR on balances, are a great added perk that make this credit card a great fit for military members.

The Bottom Line

You'll be able to maximize your purchases with USAA rewards points. For every $1 spent, 1 point will be earned on everyday purchases and there's no cap or expiration date of points.

The Good

The AFA Credit Card has no annual fee, no foreign transaction fee and comes with a 12-month introductory APR of 0.0% on balance transfers.

The Not So Good

While the introductory APR for balance transfers is a great feature of this card, the transaction fee on balance transfers will be 3%.
