The Bank of America® Travel Rewards Credit Card is similar to other rewards cards, but also includes some special promotional offers/features that make it worthy of consideration. Points can be redeemed for a statement credit to pay for flights, hotels, vacation packages, cruises, and more. As a new offer, cardholders can earn 20,000 online bonus points if you make at least $1,000 in purchases in the first 90 days of account opening — that can be a $200 statement credit toward travel purchases.
Additionally, you can earn 1.5 points per $1 spent on purchases, which is 50% more than the average rewards programs you see out there. There is no limit to the number of points you can receive with the Bank of America rewards card and the points never expire. Furthermore, you can enjoy an additional 10% customer points bonus on every purchase when you have an active Bank of America® checking or savings account and you can increase that bonus to 25% - 75% if you’re a Preferred Rewards client.
International travelers don’t have to deal with high costs on transactions that are processed outside the United States, unlike most credit card offers, and there’s no annual fee. Redeeming your points for statement credits towards your travel purchases is simple and fast – call or go online to redeem those points after you pay for your travel expenses with your Bank of America® Travel Rewards Credit Card.
If you prefer the personal touch of a phone call when you apply for a credit card or have a question on your account, Bank of America goes the extra mile. You can expect an “an outstanding customer service experience” for the live phone channel, according to the May 2017 certification by J.D. Power.
