The Children's Place is a store made just for kids – specifically stylish kids who like new clothes. Featuring extensive clothing selections for every age group, this store is a go-to place for moms and dads in need. If you don't have one of the stores around you, you can find all their products online. Be careful though – you may get addicted.

Before you start shopping at the store, you may consider applying for The Children's Place credit card. This card offers rewards that you can use towards your purchase. Is the card worth the application? Can it actually help you out? That's what we're here to find out. Check out the Children's Place credit card review below to learn more.

The Children's Place Credit Card Features

Here are some important features for Children's Place Card:

  • 20% discount on first purchaseChildrens Place
  • 100 bonus points on first purchase
  • 5% savings on all other purchases
  • 20 rewards points per purchase
  • No annual fee
  • 25.99% APR
  • $35 late fee

The Good

If you like to shop at The Children's Place on a regular basis, this card is fantastic. It offers a constant 5% discount on anything you buy, which can quickly add up. Plus, you can rack up bonus points that could be used for future purchases. You might earn free offers or you could get great deals on the clothes your kids need. With no annual or monthly fee to worry about, this card is basically the ultimate way to save money at the store.

The Not-So-Good

The downside to this card is the fact that it really only benefits people who shop at The Children's Place frequently. If you don't shop there more than once or twice a year, you'll basically get this card to carry around in your wallet. If you forget to pay your balance, you'll face the ridiculously high interest charge of 25.99%, plus $35 for every late payment. At that point, it would be better to pay for your items in cash.

The Bottom Line

While there are perks to having a Children's Place Card, the fact is that it's impractical for most shoppers. It would be better to get a great rewards card, like Discover It, which offers rewards on every purchase you make. The rewards there can be used in all stores that accept Discover and they can even be used for kid's clothes for online shopping. You may find better prices on better clothing with the right card in hand.

Before you get tempted into applying for the Children's Place Card, think about how often you'll use it. Is it worth having your credit pulled just to save 20% on school clothes one time? If so, apply today. Otherwise, enjoy your hunt for the perfect rewards card.
