Just recently we wrote about new benefits Citi Executive cardmembers now get to enjoy thanks to an exclusive partnership between Citi and American Airlines. In a nutshell, Citi Executive cardmembers get free access to 35 Admiral’s Club locations and to all 18 domestic US Airways Clubs, and they also have access to the oneworld® frequent flier program. Read the article for more information on their partnership.

April Bonus = Free Access

Citi must be really excited about this partnership because they just announced that all cardmembers–yes, even non-Citi cardmembers- can enjoy a one-day pass during the month of April to any domestic U.S. based Admirals Club Lounge for travelers whose credit cards no longer provide complimentary access. In order to get a one-day pass, you must show proof of previous access by showing a Citi Ambassador your credit card that previously enabled you access to the Admirals Club lounge. There will be Citi Ambassadors at lounge entrances Monday – Friday from 9am-5pm, with extended hours at select clubs throughout the month. Travelers must meet with a Citi Ambassador during the month of April in order to receive their one-day pass. Cardmembers with previous access to these services include:

  • American Express Platinum Cardmembers
  • American Express Business Platinum Cardmembers
  • American Express Mercedes-Benz  Platinum Cardmembers
  • American Express Centurion Cardmembers

Citi Executive MasterCard Benefits

Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite™ MasterCard® cardmembers and their immediate family, or up to two traveling guests, will enjoy complimentary access to nearly 60 Admirals Club locations in major airports worldwide. Executive cardholders aren’t the only ones to benefit from this partnership either; Citi Prestige cardmembers can now enjoy complimentary access to nearly 40 American Airlines Admirals Club lounges when they show their card and boarding pass. Check out their press release for more information on all the benefits Executive cardmembers will receive.
