Our final credit card deal today comes in the form of ThankYou Points. Citi developed a rewards platform a few years ago called the ThankYou Network, which is similar in nature to American Express' Membership Rewards program and today, they've launched a 40,000 ThankYou point promo on the Citi ThankYou Preferred Card.
40,000 ThankYou points can be acquired in two steps. 20,000 ThankYou points are awarded after spending $2,000 in the first three months and another 20,000 ThankYou points are awarded after spending $2,000 in the following three months (for a minimum of $4,000 spent in six months). The spend hurdle is very reasonable compared to other offers, but the one downside is that you have to wait to receive the full 40,000 ThankYou point bonus.
The Citi ThankYou Preferred Card includes a variety of other benefits as well:
- 1 ThankYou Point for every dollar spent on all purchases
- An anniversary bonus of 1% - 3% the total points you've accumulated throughout the year
- No annual fee
This limited time promotion is expected to last throughout the holiday season and because it's a Citi card, will also include "Price Rewind." Price Rewind is a program that allows Citi cardholders to receive a refund if a product they buy is found for a cheaper price within 30 days (restrictions apply).
