Gas rewards credit cards help you to earn money on the purchases you make, including those expensive purchases at the pump. With these credit cards, you’ll be able to make purchases and earn cash back on them. Each company sets the percentage back you will get. Some will only allow you to purchase gas from affiliated gas stations. If you are tired of paying too much for gas, rewards credit cards are the route to go.

Credit One Bank® Visa® - No Deposit Required: This card has a pretty basic rewards program specifically centered around gas rewards. You get 1% cash back on gas and grocery purchases, terms apply. You may be eligible for a credit line increase if you make your first 6 payments on time. The Credit One Bank Gas Card also comes with free online credit score tracking, since it is designed for those with poor credit. If you have excellent credit, keep reading for better rewards options. 

Barclaycard Rewards MasterCard®: Barclay recently rolled out some great offers, even gaining recognition by Money Magazine for some newer offers. This card will earn you 2X cash back rewards on purchases for gas, groceries and utilities and 1X cash back rewards on all other purchases. There's no cap to the number of rewards you can earn and there are no blackout dates. What's more, you pay no annual fee and you only need good credit to get approved for this card.
