As credit card issuers continuously compete with each other to try to earn a spot in your wallet, credit card sign up bonuses just keep getting bigger and better. If you’re in the market for a new rewards credit card, you should definitely pay attention to the new cardholder sign up bonuses because many of them are worth several hundreds of dollars. But credit card offers come and go, and many credit card issuers try to entice new customers by offering a limited time increase for the bonus. Here are five credit cards that have some incredible sign up bonuses that won’t last forever:

1. Marriott Rewards® Premier Credit Card – 80,000 points

Marriott Rewards Premier Credit CardWith the current offer on the Marriott Rewards Premier Credit Card from Chase, you can rake in 80,000 points after you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months from account opening. This increased sign up bonus is enough to potentially earn you two free nights at the highest category Marriott properties. The previous offer on this credit card was 60,000 bonus points, so a 25% increase is pretty significant! The Marriott Rewards Premier Credit Card also comes with comes with 1 free night stay at a Category 1-5 location every year after your account anniversary date. The annual fee is $85. *This offer and/or promotion may have since changed, expired, or is no longer available.

2. Discover it® - 18 Month Balance Transfer Offer

Back in May, Discover made some big changes and took a brand new approach to the Discover it sign up bonus. Instead of offering a onetime lump sum bonus like most cash back cards, Discover is now doubling the cash back that all new cardholders earn at the end of their first year. This means if you earn $100 in your first year, you’ll get a $100 bonus; if you earn $500 in cash back, you’ll get a $500 bonus. Since there is no limit to how much your sign up bonus could be; the more you spend, the more you’ll earn, and the bigger your bonus will get.

3. Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite™ MasterCard® – 60,000 miles

American Airline AAdvantage miles are some of the most lucrative airline miles out there. Thanks to their recent merger with US Airways, the world’s largest carrier now has even more award availability and routes than ever. Although this credit card comes with a $450 annual fee, the increased offer of 60,000 bonus miles can easily get you double or even triple that value in award flights. The sign up bonus alone can get you multiple round trip tickets within the United States, which can easily be a value of over $1,000. The card also comes with a number of premier perks like your first checked bag free, Admirals Club Membership, and the ability to earn 10,000 Elite Qualifying Miles every year. *This offer and/or promotion may have since changed, expired, or is no longer available.

4. Wyndham Rewards Visa – 45,000 points

Wyndham Rewards VisaUntil recently, the Wyndham Rewards Program was hardly anything to consider. However, back in May, Wyndham completely overhauled their rewards program so that you could earn a free night at any Wyndham property with just 15,000 points. To make the change even sweeter, Wyndham also released two credit cards through Barclaycard so consumers can rack up the points very quickly. The better of the two cards offers 30,000 points after you make your first purchase, and another 15,000 points after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months. That’s 3 free nights at any Wyndham hotel, anytime! This card comes with a $69 annual fee, but you also get another 15,000 points on your anniversary date, equal to another free night! Furthermore, this card earns 2 points on every dollar you spend; so for every $7,500 you spend, you earn another free stay. *This offer and/or promotion may have since changed, expired, or is no longer available.

5. Citi® Hilton HHonors® Visa Signature® Card – 75,000 points

Compared to many other hotel loyalty programs, Hilton HHonors generally requires many more points in order to earn a free night. However, the numerous Hilton HHonors credit cards allow you to bring in loads of points, especially with the limited time sign up bonus of 75,000 points on the Citi Hilton HHonors Visa Signature after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months. The sign up bonus alone will get you one free night at many of Hilton’s top locations, but there are also plenty of excellent properties where 75,000 points will get you multiple free nights. Another benefit of this card is that it will give you automatic HHonors Silver status. Since this card doesn’t have an annual fee, the current sign up bonus is a great way to kick start your HHonors account or give it solid boost at no cost.
