CompareCards.com Textbook Scholarship Program

2008 - 2009 CompareCards.com Bi-Annual Student Scholarship Program

Please check back for our 2009 update

At CompareCards.com, we would like to help defray some of the cost of college or graduate school. Just read articles like "Thirty and Broke". We are the first and only credit card comparison website in the United States to offer a semester scholarship program for text book expenses.

Each fall and spring semester, we will give a deserving college or graduate student the opportunity to have their text books paid for by CompareCards.com. Hopefully, this will allow for a student to use the savings they receive on books toward other expenses associated with getting a degree.

To apply, please copy and paste the below questions into an email and send your responses to scholarships@comparecards.com. You don’t have to apply for a student credit card to be considered. There are no gimmicks and your information will not be used for any marketing purpose – we want to help students start as debt-free as possible after graduation. This is our small way toward giving back and emphasizing the importance of education as well as graduating with as little debt as possible.

For the below questions, don’t respond with what you think we want to hear, but rather with your true opinions. We will post the winner’s responses shortly after August 22, 2008. Scholarship selections will be based on creativity, logic and sincerity.
